It has become a disturbing tendency in our College campuses to insult icons of our national identity like the national flag, the national anthem and our military. A nation is not a geographical territory, but a shared pride. Once the pride is lost, there is no concept of a Nation. It is worth noting that these students who have the arrogance to insult the nation use the resources, freedom and protection that our country offers. Every citizen has a responsibility to move away from any political party that promotes such heinous activities. While patriots like Subash Chandra Bose pledged every drop of their blood for our nation, some of our educated youngsters use their energy to insult and degrade our heritage. It is the responsibility of every parent to educate their children that insulting the nation is equivalent to insulting one’s own mother. JAI HIND !!!!!
