Death is like a snake which comes creeping towards us day by day. But for Parikshit, it was certain in just seven days. As a wise man, he could understand this in its true sense and decided to divert his attention from worldly things. When the whole world is helpless to support us, we realize that the only solace is at the Lotus Feet of the Lord.
