Prachethas married Marisha (daughter of an ‘apsaras’ Pramlocha) and were blessed with a son Prachethasan, who had off springs filling the three worlds. His daughters enriched the lineage with noble children.
Bhagavatham says, first this Daksha created with his mind and when that was not sufficient, he did penance to please Lord Sri Hari.
He chanted ‘HamsaGuhyam’ sthothram to please Bhagavan who is unknown through the senses:
“Oh Lord, the one who takes the body as Self do not know YOU, or Your help. That is because the individual sees only the world. As sound can not know the ears, Jeeva do not know the Paramatma who gives both ‘Bhoga and Moksha’.
Mind creates this feeling of separation.
When the mind becomes free from names and forms, illusions of opposites, transcends to Samadhi state, Bhagavan shines in him as Sachidananda Swaroopam.
Only the intelligent ones purify their mind with knowledge through ‘Shravanam’ etc and come to know You.
As Agni hidden in the wood appears with churning, Paramatma appears upon constant introspection with ‘MahaVakyas’.
