Daksha’s prayer was answered as Bhagavan appeared (in that placed called Akhamarshanam) in His ‘eight-arms’ form. The weapons Chakram, Shamkham, Vaal, Paricha, Banam, Villu, Pasham and Gada adorned His arms.
He was shining in yellow robes and the most beautiful jewels, mesmerizing the three worlds and glorified by Sage Narada and all.
Daksha Prajapathy prostrated in excitement and speechless with great joy, yet desiring for offsprings.
Bhagavan who knows every one’s heart blessed him, “just because of your ‘Shradha’, you have ultimate devotion to Me, which is the real fruit of penance. I am pleased with your desire for the welfare of the world. As you did penance to fulfill My Will, I am pleased with you. Any effort for the welfare of all, is most relevant”.
Note: Bhagavatham states what pleases the Lord. It is none other than the desire for the welfare for all.
Mostly you want some thing for your own benefit and pray for it. But when you pray for a greater cause, which includes every one’s interest, Bhagavan is easily pleased. Your prayer is answered quickly. You do not even have to tell the ‘all knowing’ Supreme.
