Why? Unless you know sensory pleasures, you will not know how powerful they are. The one who experienced it will naturally come out of it eventually. That is true dispassion. If you jump into dispassion out of others’ suggestions, your dispassion will not be powerful enough to sustain. It will lead to more desires later”.
Uttering these harsh words, Daksha cursed Sage Narada, “You will wander aimlessly without any dwelling place”.
Narada very peacefully accepted it, even though he was powerful to avoid or react to it. A true Sadhu accepts every thing peacefully.
Daksha did not have the wisdom to know that a Guru advises only the most relevant to the Shishya, knowing where the Shishya’s mind is. Only the most qualigied Shishya will know the real meaning of the mysterious ‘GuruVakya’.
Note: Who can judge the Guru, the all-knowing master? When you qualify to receive the ultimate knowledge of the Self, you will receive the Guru’s blessings and guidance.
