Note – Bhagavatham commentaries written by Swami Udit Chaithanyaji. As Swamiji has asserted again and again in his various discourses, the Bhagavatham provides excellent solutions for our day-to-day doubts and problems. Now, for the first time, through his commentaries, Swami Udit Chaithanyaji has made the complex Bhagavatham accessible to the common man in the form of a simple and healing spiritual guide. The books are titled Srimad Bhagavatha Mahatmyam, Sapthaha Kathakal and Chathusloki Bhagavatham.
Bhagavatha Mahatmyam
Bhagavatha Mahatmyam is an introduction to the Bhagavatham, in which Swamiji explains in his simple and beautiful style how the jivatma should dissolve in the paramatma without being trapped by the senses. Swamiji guides the devotee into the inner recesses of the Bhagavatham which reveals the mystery of the Universe through the divine incarnations of Bhagavan Sri Hari.
Sapthahakathakal summarizes the main stories of the Bhagavatham which contain the vital philosophical truths, the sports of Sri Krishna and the chief incarnations of Sri Hari. These thirty stories are not mere stories, but codify the truths represented in the Bhagavatham. In this book too, Swamiji shows how these stories can prove to be a real blessing in actual life.
Chathusloki Bhagavatham comprises the four slokas that contain Lord Vishnu’s direct advice to Lord Brahma; it is said to contain the essence of the Bhagavatham. In these four slokas, the Lord explains the concepts of ‘Brahmam’, ‘Maya’, how these are related, and how one can escape from the tangles of ‘Maya’. Swami Udit Chaithanyaji in his commentary of these four slokas offers his readers a valuable commentary that is as precious as a pearl.
