ഞാൻ ഒരു കുട്ടിയെ പെണ്ണു കാണാൻ പോയി. എന്റെ അച്ഛൻ കുറിപ്പുമായി ഒരു ജ്യോത്സനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പറ്റില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. രണ്ടു വീട്ടുകാർക്കും എനിക്കും കുട്ടിക്കും മനസ്സു കൊണ്ടിഷ്ടമായതാണ്. അതു കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഞാൻ അച്ഛനോടു പറഞ്ഞു മറ്റൊരു പണിക്കരെ കൊണ്ടു നോക്കിച്ചു. ആറര പൊരുത്തം ഉണ്ട് കുഴപ്പമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. പെണ്ണിന്റെ വീട്ടുകാരോടു വിവരം പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ വേറെ പണിക്കർമാരെ കൊണ്ടു നോക്കിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആറു പൊരുത്തം ഉണ്ട്, രണ്ട് പ്രധാന പൊരുത്തം ഇല്ല അതു കൊണ്ട് ജാതകം ചേരില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവർക്കു താല്പര്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സ്വാമിജീ, ജാതക പൊരുത്തം ഇങ്ങനെ നോക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ടോ അതോ മനപ്പൊരുത്തം മതിയോ ?ദയവായി ഒരു ഉപദേശം തന്നാലും.
