What is donated in an organ transplantation is a piece of flesh. It becomes a functioning body organ when the life energy of the recipient vitalizes it. After transplantation, the organ is part of the recipient life and not the donor’s. So the death of the donor will not affect the transplant in any way. Hari Om.
