Dear swamiji first of all thanking you for your heart soothing speeches. In life sometime we have to take crucial decisions that will change our lives. Always we have two options and when we choose between these options sometimes some people get hurt and some are going to be happy. Mostly others won’t understand why we took that decision. So does it means that we are doing a wrong thing? Whenever I came across making a decision i feel this. How can i improve myself in differntiating the right and wrong decision?

The grace or credit of any decision depends on the purpose or the agenda behind it. Like you said people may be hurt, some may feel it was wrong to do, yet, in the larger scheme of things, is it supporting a happy life? Is it eventually creating more harmony? Is it beneficial for the society at large? Then it is the right thing to do. More importantly, once you make a crucial decision, stick to it with all your power. Never waver because your decision is challenged by someone, who has a different view of the situation. You should be sure of the reasons for your decision. Only people who took decisions thoughtfully, boldly and executed it with grace, tact and wisdom are respected. Such power comes effortlessly to the ones who are in sync with their Inner Self through japam, dhyanam etc. That is why you are advised to do regular sadhana. No matter what hurdles life brings, you easily walk over it. Irrespective of the road you take, the important thing is to reach the destination. Hari Om.
