Purushasuktam is a part of Rigveda where it describes how Purusha or Supreme Intelligence becomes the creative thought/ creative will (Prajapati) and takes the cosmic form (Virat). The entire universe is interconnected in being a part of this Virat Swaroopam. The yajna of Prajapati signifies how the primordial energy caused creation and maintains it. Purushasuktam is chanted in Anushtubth meter. Hari Om.
