Purushasukta is a part of Rig veda that describes how the Purusha or Supreme intelligence becomes the creative thought/ will (also known as Prajapati). Purusha takes an all encompassing form called Virat which contains the entire cosmos. The yajna of Purusha/ Prajapati denotes how the primordial energy becomes the base for creation. Hari Om.
