A child communicates with mother by crying and mother understands it ,Do we need all these difficult to understand slokas and mantras to communicate to god?

Slokas and mantras are not means to communicate to God. They are in fact to purify your mind, and thin out your vasanas, so can feel the divine presence in you. It is not in understanding the meaning of the mantra, but since they are very powerful syllables, it will re-oreint your energy body by the sound vibrations in a certain way. So continue chanting even if you don’t get the full meaning. As you chant you will realize, your intellect sharpens and the meaning is revealed to you. Your involvement and focus when you chant is most important. Also , you don’t need to learn many mantras. Choose one simple mantra like Om Namah Shivayah or Om Namo Bhagavathe vasudevayah….. to meditate on. It will work wonders. Hari Om.
