“Aathmanaam radhinam vidhi Sareeram radhamevacha Indriyaani hayaanyahu bhudhim tu saaradhim vidhi” We all know this is from ‘Kaddhopanishat’ .That we used a pictorial representation used with five horses.In that way the Lord Krishna replaces with ‘Bhudhi’ .Then come to my doubt,In an ordinary person’s case thats ok.But the case of a mentally retarded person what is happening?

Dear Sujesh,
Whether mentally retarded or mentally stable, mind exists in the body because of the Chaitanyam. A person is mentally retarded because the thoughts developed in previous life are very weak. If we can help such people to develop a stronger mind, they can come with a stronger mind in their next life. Hinduism believes that our present life is determined by the nature of our thoughts. So we are responsible for everything. Don’t blame God.
