Dear Sreenivasji,
You can chant Rudram while traveling, understand that all these mantras are not recited in the temple when it was revealed.
There was no temple at that time. So don’t worry about the place but be aware.
Mere chanting will not bring God;s grace. You have to recite with full involvement and dedication.
When we recite any mantra with inner feeling of peace and joy then we are tuned to God.
