Can you please explain me what is SWADHARMA” ? Does it mean to be selfish?

The word Dharma itself takes the concept of selfishness away. The word Dharma comes from the root “Dru” which means “to hold together”. Selfishness never holds together. Dharma constitutes all actions and attitudes that hold everything together. When we live in the world, if we follow material laws or personal interests, some amount of problems and friction is bound to happen. This can be avoided only by following the laws of the SELF or TRUTH. Then we will pay attention to avoid all hurts, conflicts and agony by our words or actions. Hari Om.
