Dear guruji , in the last week’s discourse on geeta you mentioned that we are the masters of our destiny. We are becoming slaves to our destiny hence the suffering. But i thought geeta always said ishwara pranidharana and that he is the ultimate master of our destiny..pl advice…as i am in a state of conflict. I also suffer from anxiety and often get thoughts of death of my closest family…it just throws me off balance each time the thought comes and then i feel am i attracting such thoughts into reality…pl help. I listen to u every morning n thats my daily elixir of life.

It is true Ishwara Pranidhana(surrender to the Divine) is a fundamental concept in Santhanadharma. But where is HE is the question? HE is right within you as the source of your being, your activity and achievements. If HE resides in you, as an untapped immense potential, all you need to do is to connect with him. Then you are not a slave of anything. HE will work through you to master your destiny.
Now the second part of your question is about attracting thoughts. No matter you think or dream of someone’s death, they will all die when they have exhausted their Prarabdhakarma in this life and no one else can change it. Next time such a thought comes to your mind, change it and think you won a lottery….let the good thing be attracted….. I am saying this so you understand it is not necessary to attach importance or anxieties to such random thoughts and make it big. Take life calm and easy. Then it will be a nice flow. Hari Om.
