Dear Guruji, thank you for all enlightenment. Guruji at a very young age i was witnesss to serious life threatening diseases with my mom dad and brother, due to which i have become very scared and anxious about diseases and death of all my immediate family members. i somehow seem to have this thought in my head always that i would lose them now.. today i will get to hear some bad news!even been to a doc to help relevive me of this anxiety, little help. tring spiritual path..understand that each one has his destiny writtena and everything will happpen as written in his/her destiny..death will happen only at the written time..but my mind seems to be fearful all the time. Also you see so many news in tv paper about untimely deaths, it scares you. i read somehwere that if i hear rudram chamakam, it will help..am trying that too. Please help me with your wisdom as it is so disturbing to have such thoughts about your husband and kid especialy when i am pregnant with my second child. am worried these thoughts might influence my unborn kid too. seek your blessings and divine intervention. regards

Dear Jyothiji,
Like what you food feed to your body becomes your body cells, the sensory experiences that you have (what you see, hear etc.) become your thoughts. So, watch what you see and hear. That is why, our Masters advised Satsang and Sadhana for our mental growth. Avoid horror movies, unpleasant news with violence and accidents etc. Sing Bhajanas and listen to spiritual discourses. Read Geeta and Bhagavatham (refer to the notes in our site) and develop a positive attitude.
Remember, however you try, you will have to leave the present body one day. You have done it in many lifetimes. So, why worry about it? Before the body falls, uplift your mind. That is wisdom!
Hariom!
