Dear Guruji, Why our mind cannot bring our own physical swaroopam/face to our mind? We can remember our face only the reflected image through mirror or photos. But we can remember others’ roopam at any time. Swamiji this is my conclusion. Please correct it. This character of mind is a gift of nature. We are all very much fond of our self. If our mind is able to remember our face, it may not be able to tolerate the changes happening in our face from childhood to death. If we see a gray hair through a mirror we can understand the feelings. So I think this is the natural gift to the mind. Our mind does not care our own deteriorating body.So it is not able to remember our own swaroopam. This is God’s very great gift,to avoid unnecessary fear. Is this correct Guruji? Please correct.

Dear Mohanachandran,
Our mind can not accept the idea of death because it is applicable to the physical body only.
Somewhere in the core of our beings, it is KNOWN that we are not the body or mind, but the imperishable SELF!
So, even though we see deaths happening in our day to day life, we do not feel that we are also going to die one day!
That is, we are experiencing that TRUTH knowingly or unknowingly.
All fears and miseries are the result of our mind’s identification with the body!
