Dear Swamiji, 10 Pranas with different duties are existing in our body. As u said, at death Prana carries mind, budhi and chaitanya from the body. Out of the 10 pranas, which prana carries mind, budhi and chaitanya from the body. Also advise why 10 pranas are called Life Force. Tks.

Prana is called life force because it is the astral body or the energy body. Consider your mobile phone. It has a hardware similar to the our physical body and a software similar to our mind. But both these function in the presence of a battery or electricity. This is similar to the energy body without which the hardware/software cannot work or be connected. So prana is the link between the cosmic world and the conscious world in you. At death, Udhana Prana carries the causal body out from the physical body. Hari Om.
