Dear swamiji according to tantra sastra I heard that if we measure a red thread equal to length from foot thump to head and wrap it on a coconut contains water and stand on a river or lake at the time of sun rise facing east coconut thrown in the river over your head then all your problems will be solve. Is their any scientific reason behind it? what is meant by tantric sastra?

Tantra, Yentra, Mantra are all different ways of Sadhana. Tantra uses certain rituals to invoke the Divine energy, while yentra uses geometric figures and mantra uses sound energy. Now to answer your first question, if the coconut throwing was a solution to all problems, our lakes and rivers would be full of coconuts with red thread on it.
