Dear Swamiji, As said, our body is filled with Easwara Chaitanya. Apart from that the mind with poorva samskara is also existing. Pancha prana with 5 upapranas also existing. What happens to chaitanya, mind and pranas when a body perishes. Also why mind is not purified in the presence of chaitanya that is filled in the body. Pls advs.

There are several layers to your existence. The most gross is the body, then prana or life force. Both these are part of this cosmic world. When you die the body returns to the panchabhootas. Inner to that is the mind, the Budhi and the Chaitanyam. At death, Prana carries these inner 3 layers called “causal Body” to remain in a dormant form until it acquires a new body to continue its karmic journey. Now why Chaitanyam does not purify the mind? The mind is a part of the inert chithanyam, but as soon as it connects to prana, it expresses it vasanas. These Vasanas are not pure and are carried from several births. So you have to consciously use each birth to thin out your vasanas and purify your mind, so your become closer to the Chaitanyam and express more divinity. Hari Om.
