Dear Swamiji, As said, Talents are past life impressions. A musician who has abundant knowledge in music may not sing well as his voice is not so sweet. Our gana gandharvan Yesudasji’s voice is so sweet but his knowledge in carnatic music is less compared to Chemangudy, Balamuralikrishna or Madurai Sesha gopal. Yesudasji once said that ” the voice he has got is a gift from God and my responsibility is to return the voice back to Him without any damage”. Here my doubt is if talents or knowledge is past life impressions, why voice is not in that list. Is it a part of physical body. Pls advs.

Life is a continuum of evolution and transformation through various births. We all come with some impressions of the past but life is not just that. All limitations are modified by commitment, sincerity and dedication. Yesudasji is one such great soul. Any ability may be partially inborn, but to a great extend changed/ perfected by practice and efforts. Hari Om.
