Dear Swamiji, – As said there are 14 lokas – 7 upper lokas namely satya loka, tapa loka, jana loka, mahar loka, swaga loka, bhuvar loka and bhu loka. 7 lower lokas are atala loka, vitala loka, sutala loka, taletala loka, mahatala loka, rasatala loka and pathala loka. As said all lokas are within us. Also said pinnanda is the miniature form of brahmanda. If so all these 14 lokas are there in the universe too. Out of these 14 lokas, one loka is bhu loka, our earth. If earth is factual, all other lokas are also is there. What is the state of other lokas, whether life and living beings are there. Is this explained in Bhagavatham. Pls advs. .

What we learn through Bhagavatham is really about ourselves than the universe . What is essentially seen in outer world is there in the inner world too, because we are just another speck of the Universe. Whether there is life or not or what exist outside is not relevant to a spiritual aspirant because that information doesn’t help to transform his life. The so called Lokas are different levels of our mind. You can see rasaloka and patalam are the lowest levels of the mind meaning wrong indulgences/inertia is the lowest status of the mind while jana, tapas and satyam indicates the highest/ most elegant staus. A lot of knowledge our seers had about the Universe that they saw/understood in their meditative minds, Science is yet to prove. Hari Om.
