dear swamiji here u hv said about deena seva ,but there is an opinion that by doing seva or charity we take upon the karmas of the other,is that true.pls explain in line with bhagavatham&Gita

Dear Krishnan,
When we do charity with an intention of surrendering our ego, expecting nothing, doing our best, it purifies the mind from negativity to positivity. That is how your selfishness tranform to selflessness. This is called the expansion of the mind. When you do the same, that is seva with compassion, that compassion destroys the peace of mind. That is why our great masters insist on doing seva not with compassion, but with the concept of doing a pooja. That means you are worshiping Narayanan in the form of Naran.
