Dear Swamiji. I am very impressed with the explanations that Krishna gives Arjuna on almost every topic that a man goes through in his lifetime. Like the idea of the soul being indestructive and the changing of clothes metaphor. But where is the proof for all of this. On one hand, I admit that its the most rational or reasonable explanation one could come up with but where is the proof for all of this. Even if this is written /said by some of the smartest minds of those times(Krishna). But there are chapters where Science predominates in Gita, like the brain development of a child that begins in the womb, but I think when it comes to more spiritual things, are we supposed to believe what Krishna says because he has substantiated the other parts with credible evidence. Please clarify this for me.

It is true that any belief is blind and anything that is not in your experience will create confusion if adopted without questioning. What happens after death is not going to be in your experience in this life time. What is important is to adopt what Krishna prescribed for this life time. If you discipline your life the way he suggested, what happens after death will also be known to you. Practice the life Krishna recommended…..all questions and confusions will go away. Hari Om.
