Dear Swamiji, I have a friend who is so good in every sense with lots of experience and qualification.anyone can cheat him and a guy cheated him and he is in bad financial condition.He is a good bhakta and every weeks sings in satsangs and now daily due to Ganesh festival.He is not able to clear his debts as one thing or the other comes up and he is fed up with life.He says he will stop singing Bhajans and prayers which he has been doing for years just because he has exceeded the limits of bearing the suffering.I feel sad as he is a very kind and big hearted and ever ready to help others. he rarely thinks for himself and helps others. he understood this world is selfish and now upset and said he will stop singing and praying. pls help him and bless him. Dear Shona,
Singing Bhajans etc. is meant for diverting the mind from worries and problems to the Supreme Truth.
But that alone can not help you to sort out the self created problems. If singing can solve problems, Pandavas could have formed a Bhajan group to deal with Kauravas, right?
For solving problems we have to work intelligently; without working, we have no right to criticize the society.
So tell your friend to find an intelligent way to get rid of his debts.
