Dear Athul,
Our traditions have been developed to safeguard the interests of the devotees and others.
It ensures the physical and mental well-being of people who visits temples.
Remember that they were formed long back when transportation and other facilities were scarce and the journey was difficult!
Even now it is better to respect those rules for the safety of the mother and child and the interest of fellow pilgrims, not for any spiritual reasons!
HariOm!
