Dear Swamiji: I was married at 18 and from then on, I have worked so hard. I have had to continue my studies part time, work full time outside the home to pay for my education and also do most of the work at home like cooking, cleaning, taking care of the children and husband. Have done this for almost 30 years now. I have achieved quite a bit in terms of education, career, my children are grown now but are pursuing higher professional studies for which I continue to pay. My husband retired 5 years ago, just as my children were starting university, therefore most of the financial burden of the children university education has fallen on me. I am physically and mentally tired of providing of my family, I just want to retire and live a simple life with whatever I have but the necessity of paying for the children’s education for another 4-5 years keeps me working.
