Dear swamiji, namaste. I want to know about shaligram. Some people say you should not keep shaligram at home as they will bring disaster if not attended. Two year back i happened to get two shaligram one is mountain shape and other is somewhat oval not exactly oval has two rings around and somewhere at bottom i feel a tinge of gold. Both are in tact not broken. i have kept them in alter in small singhasan.I bathe them put chandan. But for one week when I can’t do puja i just let them there seeking permission that i can’t attend you now and someone in my house lit the dhoop in temple as their daily routine. But no one else in my house do other elaborate pujas like bathing bal gopal and so nobody touches idols. Can you guide me little on topic.Since two years nothing bad as such has happened except one two issues which i think otherwise also are lingering with me since i got married. I have otherwise learnt more about spiritual energies, understood them, learning pranic healing and becoming active volunteers in it.Have serious issues with my husband but they are their since long and not after bringing shaligram.

Why follow any custom with fear in mind?
Let it be deep love and true devotion for the Lord.
The purpose of all ‘acharam’ is to invoke ‘vicharam’ and ‘shraddha’.
