Dear swamiji, Swamiji told me that there is a particular Bhaavam for each mantra and deity to whom it is addressed. please explain to me swamiji, for better understanding.

Mantras by the nature of their sound vibrations have different effects on your body and mind. You know the Bhavam of Shiva and Vishnu are different. Both are different from that of Devi’s. Now if you are praying Saraswathi for Vidya, the mindset you have, is not the same when you pray Pravathi with Swayamvara Mantra or pray Siva with Nirvana Shatakam. Only when you imbibe the right purpose and Bhaava and chant the mantra with full concentration do you get the benefits. A lot of people chant like a lip exercise and wonder why no change happens in my life. All transformation should first happen in your mind. Then your behavior will change in a way that you express the power the mantra gives you. Hari Om.
