Dear swamiji the soul is entering the boy at the birth time. Then the past impressions, its character are not seeing the newly born baby .It is seeing after a particular age only why .

All impressions need not become expressions, and even when they appear, they need not show the true intensity too.
Expressions take place only with help of developed sensory organs.
In a child, senses and mind are not well developed, but impressions are there in the mind.
