dear swamiji ,thoughts about the world and about oneself ,makes life moving, instead of what we see ,we r asked to think about an abstract energy in us,,is it possible to stay thoughtless, for long, and what happiness to expect fromm an abstract energy, till we experience that, and no idea when we will experience that, i understand god is in us,but when i see more and more devotees going to temple,i am confused ,thank you

Dear Sarojiniji,
Whatever joy you have experienced so far, has come from that inner joy or Self only.
But an ignorant person misunderstands that it comes from external objects and people.
It is like, your enjoyment of food is actually related to your own hunger.
Now, as far as temple worship is concerned, it is needed for beginners. The only problem is seeing God only in the idols.
You have to go deeper into your own Self and discover your own divinity.
Temple worship should not become a hurdle there.
For a true devotee going to temples or not going makes no difference.
