Dear Swamiji, When Arjun refused to kill his Gurus, Krishna said “you are only an instrument in my hands and have already killed Kauravas “. In another occasion, Krishna told Udhhav ” i never interfere in anybody’s karmic burden or wealth which they have acquired through many past lifes. i just watch their actions sitting in them as a witness”. How these two statements match. Pls advs.

Both statements are right when you understand each person as a part of the Universal mind. In Kurukshetra, Arjun is only executing the rule of the Universe. Whatever Kauravas suffered is what they acquired by their actions in accordance with laws of Dharma. If you think of a Jeevathma, Paramathma is residing in each one of us as our Manasakshi, directing us to think and do right, but not directly involved in what we do. We often know what is right, but we commit mistakes by our vasanas and poor karma. A conscious attempt has to be made at every point to work in accordance with the Universal mind that is directed by Dharma. When you are consistent, all things that happen to you will be great as the Universe will start actively working in your favor. Hari Om.
