Dear Swamiji, when soul is departed from the body ,the heat of the body remains for some time.why this happens?

Though the soul is taken away from the body by the Prana at the time of death, the fact that life force was available in the body till then should be remembered. And that life force would have triggered a series of chemical reactions in the body. How much time it takes for the body to cool off depends on the cause of death and the process itself, whether instantaneous or over time. In this context, it is worth knowing there have been cases known to the medical community when the dead body mysteriously warmed up after death for a few hours before cooling off. Hari Om.
