dear swamiji,A normal man wants to go to a higher post in a job or in any ordeal ,because he thinks that it will make him happy or satisfied, thus he strives towards it.His motivation is hope of reward. But a man with a higher state of mind, being the spiritual man ,is content and satisfied in the post or state he is in,I want to know what is the spiritual man’s motivation to strive for a higher post, for he is already satisfied with what he has and does not need any gain to make him happy.

A materially contended man alone can reach spiritual heights, otherwise his goal will be set for material gains only.
But a spiritually realized person may or may not seem to be aspiring.
It does not affect his mind. He may inspire others with his efforts, which is in fact effortless for him.
He has nothing more to gain here.
