Dear Swamiji, After completing bhagavatha, Vyasa muni said that all what i said above are stories only, u take only thatwam from these stories. As we learned parts of dwaraka is still there in the bottom of sea in Gujarat and there are proof that Krishna and pandavas lived. Then how can we say that these are just stories. Pls advs.

There is some element of history and some element of fiction in Puranas.
Sage Vyaasa has beautifully and poetically narrated some areas of Bhagavatham to simplify the thatwam for the common man. It is easy to understand the stories when they are said in that manner.
Yet, all of it should not be taken literally and we need to understand the essence of the narrative.
It is like taking the message of a beautiful movie irrespective of how exaggerating the presentation is.
Our Rishis have adopted a lot of ‘Chamalkar’ in their presentation of scientific facts.
