Dear Swamiji, God’s chaitanya is residing in all living and non-living beings. Hence why a Thanthri transfers his chaitanya to a non-living stone at the time of pancha prana prathishta. If the chaitanya can be transferable, can a thanthri transfer his chaitanya to a weaker person to uplift him. Similarly, is it possible to transfer negative energiy of a person to another person or to another material. Pls advs. Tks & Regds, S. Vasu Elayath.

No ‘thanthri” ever can give life to any idol. If they are sure there is life in the idol, they will never become greedy for the work done by them.
I am not blaming but I am told by many temple committees that most of these people are exploiting them in the name of “thanthri”.
Please refer to Geetha where Bhagavan compares the human body as the temple (Kshetra) and our inner Self as the ‘Kshetranja’ or Bhagavan.
All idols are pointers to this Bhagavan within.
