Hari Ohm . Onam is celebrated to honour Mahabali who showed enormous mental strength when he was going though physical loss and deceit . This teaches us that, even when we may have to go through physical loss and various emotional agitations ,consider mind as your real asset and surrender it to God. Never yield to worries or anxieties.
