Dear Swamiji, I am currently attending your Geeta discourse in Bangalore and it is been answering many of my queries related to spirituality. It is so very enlightening that I am not able to think about missing even one session. Crores of Namskarams for you! I am basically a believer who don’t light the lamp or visit any temple, but have kept a photograph of Guruvayoorappan, through whom i connect myself to God. While you were discussing that you don’t require a photograph to meditate or feel God, i wish to follow your advice, but will take time, i know since i am very much in the emotional as well as intellect world. I have a confusion in terms of Pitru Karma. My dad died years back and he was a follower of an Ashram(Meivazhi Salai – Trichi) where they don’t promote Idol Worship. They were against performing Shrardha Karmam. My relatives feel, it is a must to do that for their Moksha and our well beingness and they are worried that it will affect my life adversely. I am not able to accept this thought but get confused at times remembering the fact that our epics have mentioning about Pitru Karma as in Janakan’s case. Kindly help me in getting the clarity on this. Hari Om!

Dear Veenaji,
As long as you are not clear about the root of your mind, it will create all these disturbances.
Surrender to the infinite silence, that will radiate and uplift the minds of the confused people around you. When your mind dissolves, you can’t see your father’s mind separately
and you don’t have to worry about his moksham. Every mind has to reach this experience of silence by themselves.
HariOm!
