Dear Swamiji, I have a 6 months baby my mother used to say that i should put black pottu for her so that other evil eyes will not effect. can please tell me whether such things are true.

Instead of worrying about evil eyes, why can’t you tell your baby ‘you are divine and God manifestation, you are my God, I want to decorate(alamkaram) to my most beloved God’.
These sounds will enter into the mind of your child, when she grows up, she can recollect your words and will give confidence throughout her life.
