Dear Swamiji, I live in the UK and wake up in the middle of the night to watch your programme on Asianet. In this morning’s discourse, your good self mentioned that sometimes God grants our prayers through compulsion. I do not understand this concept and it also troubles me a bit. How can mere human beings compel God, especially to grant something that God would not have granted in the first place? Please explain in detail. I look forward to receiving a reply. Thank you. Dear Sindhu,
When you consider yourself as a devotee of God, then you take it as an advantage that you can ask anything from God. Actually Krishna and Rama are treated as Gurus and we should be their disciples. A devotee will demand and a disciple will follow. To follow, you need to understand the instruction of the Guru. Bhagavatham is considered to be a text of instructions by our great masters.
