Dear Swamiji, In our town, there is a person who has got sidhi. People go to him for solving their problems such as for getting job, for sickness, delayed marriage, no babies after marriage, removal of negative energy from the house and individuals etc..He uses a pendulum for finding out the problems and solutions. We hv many proof such as got job after many years, got babies after 7 to 8 years of marriage etc.. after the solutions done mostly temple vazhipadu. He is successful in most cases, but failures also was there. Another argument he says that if you got more “sivamsam”, we shud not use sandalwood chain or tulasi mala which causes negative energy instead can use Rudrasha mala or cristal mala or navaratna mala or ring. People who got more “vishnu amsam” can use chandana mala or tulasi mala. This he is checking with pendulam. If one’s sidhi is used for the betterment of the society, how can they prove to be distractions. Pls advs.

People by virtue of their samskaras are born with different energy levels. What you use it for is a choice. We should have devotion and surrendering attitude not when experiences are bad, but when they are good as well. Then life will be steady and balanced. Japam, Dhyanam, bhajanam, poojas, etc. are different methods advised at different levels of spiritual development to achieve and anchor in that devotion.
Sidhis sometimes become distractions as they deviate the seeker from the path to the right destination.
They can become ‘honey traps’.
