Dear Swamiji, India was invaded by Muslims 600 years under the leadership of Ghazni, Ghori, Khilji, Tughlaq, Lodi, Mughal and further by countries like Dutch, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and England. Muslims destroyed many many famous temples and looted the wealth, gold, ornaments, gems etc.. They converted Hindus to Muslims and who all opposed were killed and destroyed their ladies. The foreign countries also looted our wealth. Precious Kohinoor gem which costs crores is now in British gallery. No other nation suffered set backs as we faced. Hinduism would have washed away if they were in any other country because Hindu kings or territories were not together or united at that time. But it still survives in India without further damage. What is the reason behind this. Pls advs.

The reason Bharat has survived all kinds of onslaughter over centuries is her spiritual wisdom. As the name denotes, it is the only country that gave importance to jnanam over material wealth and the world has always looked up to us for that. Despite the diversity there is a golden thread of spiritual understanding that holds it together. It is the responsibility of each one of us to keep it that way. Hari Om.
