Dear Swamiji It is said that your thoughts/desires at the time of our death mostly decides our “punerjanmam”, as for example, in the case of Jadabharatha. Does it mean that this will apply only to human beings and not for other forms of life on earth which possibly have no powers to think.If, hence, there is one punerjanmam for an “eecha or poocha”, then on what basis this could possible be? Will be grateful for a logical, not necessarily scientific explanation. Pranam

According to Scriptures, the most prominent impressions in your mind at the time of death determines your next life.
So a human being turning into such living beings is not very common, but not impossible too.
