Here, the cowardice in the ‘Arjuna mind’ justifies his fear with excuses.
‘Varnasangaram’ actually refers to the lack of clarity of a confused mind.
Only a clear intellect has the power of discrimination.
A confused mind suffers from overlapping thoughts and hence is not able to take right decision and act boldly.
