Dear Swamiji, Krishna and Rama are back born of Hinduism. If Hindus come to know that they are exaggerated characters of unreal stories, they cud not digest it. They want to see that they are characters of real/live/actual stories. When i discussed with some elders, they said that Bhagavatham has to be read/heard only once. Previously it was re-handwritten on palm leaves and after reading, it will be tear off and flown to the rivers. Once read book will not be kept for next reading. After reading they hv to grasp the thatwam and don’t keep attachment to the characters and hence it was said as stories. Parishit got moksham after hearing bhagavatham only once. Now a days we hear saptaham many times but no change seen in us is not the fault of bhagavatham but it is not heard properly. Pls comment.

If you listen to Bhagavatham as Parikshith listened with his whole heart, that is enough for liberation.
Otherwise, listen or read as many times as possible, at one point of time, you will feel the shift.
