Dear swamiji, Most of our temples have the system of vedi vazhipadu.i have read in one book explaining practices , that sound from crackers or kathina can nullify the negative sound energies in atmosphere.whats the truth about it.

In earlier days, Vedi vazhipadu was meant for generating confidence in the people that their problems will get blasted away. Now-a-days it has become a commercial activity.
