Dear Swamiji, Please clarify my following doubt.my 4 year old son is very lovable and sensitive by nature. even though some other naughty kids trouble him he doesn’t disturb them back..instead he starts crying and complaining his teacher/us about that. this is beacause he has been taught by me and his father that he shouldn’t hurt anyone. as my cousin’s daughter hurts him whenever she gets a chance,i realized the wrong impact of our advice. please tell me how can i help him overcome such situation..

Your son should definitely be taught not to hurt others. But he should also be taught not to be “bullied” by other kids. Hurting someone intentionally, is very different from being able to protect oneself against being hurt. Teach him just like he does not trouble others, others have no right to hurt him. Everyone has their own space in this world and we need to learn co- existence. Talk to your cousin to educate her daughter too. Support him until he learns to stand up himself. Hari Om.
