Dear Swamiji, Spiritual leaders who got “atmathatwam”, why visiting temples, do poojas, do satsang and do lectures. May say that is for upliftment of others. Our Hrishis were doing “Thapasu”in days, months and years and enoyed joy and bliss. Our Kings at their last stages, hand over the power to their sons or nephews and go to the forest and do “thapasu” with their wives and enjoyed joy and bliss. These practices are no more existing. God realised people if do karmas, will get karma phala evenif they say we don’t want money or don’t expect karma phala. In order to run an astram, financial aid is required. Further if anybody join astram, fixed deposit also collected. So these financial commitments will be an obstacle in their spiritual pathway. Moreover because of they hv always busy schedules, they cud not enjoy the silence and bliss. Talked in general. How they are coming out of these situations. Pls advs.

The path to mukthi has been defined differently in different yugas in our Scriptures. What applies to Kretayuga does not apply Tretayuga or Kali Yuga. The aim of life is to make yourself useful to people and society according to the needs of your time. This applies to all people no matter what stage of the spiritual journey they are in. And the most important thing is to do your karma and be detached from the results, both good and bad. You live a life that is beneficial to others and move on. Leave the result to Bhagavan. That is ultimate bliss.
Hari Om.
