Dear Swamiji, Thank you for your reply. My next doubt: Firstly, when all Gods are One, then why is it that we are advised to go and pray to some particular God for certain things to happen in your life? Why do they say things will fall in place only if we chant one specific mantra for that God? Secondly, being a girl if one does not pray so much to Goddess but adores Lord Rama and Hanuman, is that not right?

Mind can not concentrate on many things at a time.
The focus on one single entity increases concentration.
I have many times mentioned the story of the pole vault jumper who runs with the pole and as he attains the maximum possible height, he lets go of the pole and reaches his destination.
Similarly, the mind focussed on any single form of the Lord will ultimately go beyond that to the formless Truth.
So, do not get confused with other foolish concepts; become stabilized with clarity.
